- Visit the Alcazaba .- The Alcazaba of Almería is the largest Muslim stronghold in Spain and Europe. It was built in the tenth century by Caliph Abd al Rahman III and eventually came to give shelter and protection to 20.000 people.
- Visit the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar .- Cabo de Gata natural park is the first sea-land of Andalusia and one of the richest seabed and varied around the Mediterranean. Stretching over 34.000 hectares of land and 12.000 hectares of Marine Park.
- Visit Mojácar . - Mojácar is a really lovely place, a corner of our province not to be missed. In his ancestral street it is still possible to breathe his last Muslim past, whose Moorish Fort, perched on the highest rock, overlook the crystal and clear beaches.
- Enjoy your Easter .- The resurgence of Easter in Almeria from the 70's to present has become this religious festival into a big party in the city. The strength of their brotherhoods has allowed Almería Easter to be among the most important one in Almería. Today there are more than twenty processions of brotherhoods and many of them pass through the Cathedral Square.
- Visit the sets and filming locations of Legendary Films .– Since the 50´s many directors have visited Almería and its desert to make movies. The landscape, the light and clarity of our skies are ideals for such a purpose.

- Visit the Archaeological Museum .- The province of Almería has a rich past dating back to prehistoric times, and its numerous archaeological treasures from different periods can be seen since 2003 in its new and modern archaeological museum.
- Play Golf .- Almería today has 7 golf courses.
- Make Scuba .- The waters of the coast of Almería and Cabo de Gata sea funds in particular are a paradise for divers.
